| Sunday afternoon: Lunch at the Greek Isle |

Sunday, the group decided to take in a special Greek themed lunch at the Greek Isle Hotel and Casino before they caught their flight back to Virginia.
The hotel's dining area had been transformed into a replica bacchanlia, with a buffet piled high with traditional Greek delights. The waiters and waitresses were garbed in pseudo-ancient-Greek costumes consisting of white gauze and gold jewelry, all of them wearing gold laurel coronets on their heads. Actors on a stage performed a small comedy.
In various nooks around the room, small pedestals were set up with busts of the various Greek gods and goddesses. Tiny shrines sat on the pedestals just underneath the busts.
Duce snorted upon walking in, her fingers instantly going to pinch the bridge of her nose. "Oh. Our. Gods. Literally. Figuratively. Whichever way you want to take it. Ancient Greeks wouldn't have been caught dead in that.. garb. And those busts. Hermes is not that attractive. No way, no how."
She continues the bitching as they're lead to a table. |

(OOC: Prior to this arc, Our Heros were playing drinking games in their room, crabbing about how everyone at school seems to have paired up with someone. That part may or may not actually get rp'd. It is, however, agreed upon by the players to have happened. This entire arc was pre-played before the holidays.)

Ah, Vegas.
The plane ride was smooth and without incident. Rumor has it others arrived via a different method.
Then our intrepid group of adventurers checked in to the Bellagio. The Lobby is an excellent place to hang out or have a moment of discretion with a fellow plotter student. You know some of them played in The Fountain, even though it's against the rules.
The Bellagio bosts one of the finest Casinos in Vegas, as well as a very luxurious Spa and a positively decadent Dining Room.
Friday night, the group has reservations to Cirque du Soleil's O, in the Red Box. There's a wine and chocolate reception before and an autograph reception afterward.
Draco and Lily were assigned Suite 601.
Anakin and Jonathan were assigned Suite 609.
Duce and Faith were assigned Suite 617.
There are also other things to do in Vegas. The Sigfried and Roy Museum, for instance, or Shopping and Sightseeing along the strip, and speaking of stripping, there's the obligatory trip to the Strip Clubs. As well as any other sort of Trouble the crazy kids might want to get into.

The Bellagio sports one of the best buffets in Vegas, as well as a full range of normal menu items. The wait staff has been advised that some of you may be requesting candlelit dinners for two.

Welcome to the Bellagio! As you check in, you find the entire 6th floor has been reserved and there are suites reserved in your names. If you don't like who you're rooming with, feel free to swap. Some of the suites have been set up as 'courtesy suites' and are kept stocked with food and drinks, so if you really want to be alone, commandeer a bedroom in one of those.

Duce/Faith - Suite 617

| The Ride To Vegas |

Snakes In A Plane!
Apparently there was a portkey.. however.. Draco didn't mention it. Duce hired a jet. It's a small but comfortable Cesna, and the ride takes roughly 5 hours. Snacks are served, as are beverages, however.. no alcohol.
If you're on the jet, feel free to play. If not, feel free to chime in with how you got to Vegas.

Side note: If you did not respond to Duce's email about who was going, you're not on the FList of this journal and as such, can't comment. I added Bel because I knew the player was going out of town.
